Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, utilising advanced software tools to create efficient and innovative designs. This role requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed structural designs using CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements. Conduct system design analyses to optimise structural integrity and performance. Utilise Mathcad for calculations and documentation of design processes. Prepare technical drawings and specifications for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions that align with their vision. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to structural design.

Requirements

Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MicroStation. Strong mathematical skills for performing complex calculations related to structural design. Experience in system design within the civil engineering field is highly desirable. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrated.

Pay: 60,000.00-80,000.00 per year
