As a

Stair Designer / CNC Programmer

, you will be responsible for designing staircase solutions in line with working drawings utilizing CNC machinery to ensure precision in manufacturing. You will work closely with the business management, orders and production teams to deliver high-quality staircases that meet both design specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design custom staircases, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Create 2D and 3D drawings for staircase designs using CAD software Program designs for CNC machines for efficient and accurate fabrication of staircase components. Occasionally liaise with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into design solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards and building regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of designs.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 years experience as a stair designer and CNC programmer with strong proficiency in staircase CAD software (Ideally Masterstair and Stairbiz) Experience programming CNC machines, specifically for timber. A strong understanding of staircase design principles, including materials, structural integrity, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
