Remuneration: \xc2\xa340k to \xc2\xa345k DOE
Term: Initial 1 year contract Following the completion of the first year, an opportunity to be made permanent can be discussed
Main Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with new product development procedures
Provides solutions to a complex technical problem where the analysis of situations and data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organizational objectives. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specification
Will assist in the selection of components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements. Work with quality engineers to develop component specific testing and inspection protocols
Support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation and validation
Will analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.
Participate in pFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches
Complete capability studies for in-process inspection, MSA studies for new products and processes, and generate subsequent inspection documentation
Review and approval of validation documentation
Establish and maintain project schedule and drive projects to completion
Identify & communicate blockers & risks to project timeline
Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures
The Ideal Person:
Third Level Qualification in one of the below study areas (or similar):
Electrical/Electronic
Mechanical
Industrial Bioengineering
Process Engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
PCBA | Plastic process development will be a distinct advantage
