Staff Nurse (Outpatients) \xe2\x80\x93 Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough

The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as spinal surgery, arthroscopy, hip replacements and knee replacements. The Braithwaite day unit is used for minor operations and endoscopies.
The Role
The Pre-Operative Assessment team are looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within our department to provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team. A flexible approach to working is essential, and we expect the successful post holder to respect patients, their relatives and colleagues to the highest standards. We expect the post-holder to work independently within the team (after a period of training), and share our vision in providing a high quality service by participating in team building, and providing suggestions for future development / improvement.

What you will bring:
Registered nursing qualification or equivalent
Registered with the NMC
Recent post qualification surgical experience
Experience of a team approach to care delivery
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
Demonstrated Customer Service skills
Demonstrated Computer Skills
