Staff Engineer - (AppSec)

Remote First (offices in London and Bristol if you want to work in an office) Requirement for once a quarter catch up in either location.

Salary Range: \xc2\xa3100,000 - \xc2\xa3110,000 + bonus

One of my best clients and the UK\'s fastest growing FinTech is looking to add to their security team. An awesome bunch, raised \xc2\xa3175mil last year and already profitable \xf0\x9f\x98\x8a A tech first organisation that is changing the market and is built on the belief that banking infrastructure shouldn\'t be slowing down progress! Their people are the reason they do what they do every day, and they aren\'t afraid to challenge the norm. They have clients from fintechs and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions -and use their API to power the client\'s banking infrastructure.

The Security is made up of 8 folk, with a female CISO (mega!!) Their customers are the internal engineering teams so we need someone with a good understanding of software engineering, they are built on the Microsoft stack but hiring manager is open to you having any language background or understanding. 99% of things are hosted on azure but they are moving to a multi-cloud platform and keen to find someone with solid AWS expereince (or multi cloud even better). Just got their EU banking licence so HUGE opportunities for global exposure and growth, also really good career opportunities to progress into management if that\'s for you.

YOU:

• You\'re an experienced software engineering professional with a speciality in security.
• AWS/ AKS experience would be awesome. Multi cloud expereince even better.
• You love simplification and automation
• Network security - big plus!!!
• You know what good looks like for customer / developer experience
• Deep technical knowledge with the ability to quickly apply this through contributions to multiple code bases that are owned by other teams
• You care deeply about helping others achieve their product success
• Ideally, you will come from a fintech environment or similar upscale organisation
• You\'re self-motivated, have great communication skills and clearly articulate your plan to a range of stakeholders.

Keen to wrap this up in the next few weeks to try and get someone started pre-Christmas. If not they are ok if this slips into a Jan start. Interview process: 60 min initial call. Case study presentation/Q&A - 90 mins with Senior Lead and CISO. Done \xf0\x9f\x98\x8a
