Job Description

To support the ongoing successful growth of the business, there is a need for a talented and motivated Staff Accountant. This individual will be directly responsible for UK specific financial, tax and corporate matters as well as functional global responsibilities for the Zift Group. The role will have an international remit, interacting closely with US entities and offices.

This will be a visible role within the business, and you will have regular interactions with the leadership team and other business departments such as Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services. This is a permanent position based in the US with Zift Solutions Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zift Solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage and take responsibility for a number of day to day aspects of the global finance function, including but not limited to:

o UK VAT accounting, reporting and returns.
o UK & US statutory audit support.
o Posting bank transactions for US and UK entities bank accounts.
o Owning the Prepaid expense module and schedule maintenance.
o Assist with month end close duties and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts. * Timely reporting of financial results to support consolidation of group accounts for both Management Accounts and stat accounts.

• Ownership of global sales order processing, invoicing, and revenue recognition, including:

o Working closely with the Sales, Customer Success and Professional Services departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders through to invoicing, including managing individual customer administrative items for items such as purchase orders.
o Assisting in the contract signature process via DocuSign.
o Management of setting up revenue recognition schedules, requiring an understanding of Zift\xe2\x80\x99s products and services and revenue recognition criteria for each of them based on US GAAP accounting principles.
o Close management of customer cash collections targeting a DSO balance of 60 days at all times. * Purchase ledger ad-hoc duties to support and cover for the US and UK -based accounts payable function when required.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

• BA or BS from accredited university or equivalent business experience in finance and

accountancy. * 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in finance and accountancy.

• Professional accountancy qualification (or working towards achieving this).
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment
