A DAY IN THE LIFE:





As a Sr Manager, Sales Operations International you'll drive strategic and tactical planning to enable allocation of sales resources to maximize sales results and profitability. You will be responsible for creating and implementing sales analysis, sales force alignment, and incentive compensation alignment for business in EMEA. You will develop innovative insight and analytics solutions that help solve key sales problems and consistently delivers outstanding quality information to the International Commercial Leadership Team. You will also prepare Tandem for future growth and by ensuring our analytic solutions can scale and support the evolving needs of the company.



Working as a Sr Manager, Sales Operations International, you'll....


Acts as the project manager for projects related in-market sales operations Develops and implements processes and controls that maximize sales resources and profitability. Provides the Sales Leadership Team with analytical, data-based insights and recommendations for sales strategies to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency. Works with other key stakeholders across the company (outside of Sales) as it relates to sharing insights from data and contributing to overall analytic efforts. Responsible for the creation, implementation, and support of annual incentive compensation plans for all Commercial roles within International. Provides guidance and support for Management by Objective (MbO) components of incentive compensation plans as required. Drives process improvement and efficiency where possible in all touchpoints related to sales analytics and incentive compensation management. Provides day to day leadership, coaching, and feedback for the Business Analyst Manager and other additional positions reporting into this role. Partners as needed with external data suppliers to manage data inputs and ensures data integrity of the analytical database and tools. Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure timely and appropriate implementation of processes to enhance sales results. Develops analytical support for decision making of sales planning, targeting, and marketing campaigns. Develops and continually improves sales reports to track the effectiveness of relevant marketing efforts. Works with the Finance team to analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results and to explain fluctuations in actual sales results compared with budget and forecast. Acts as the lead for field team members when it comes to HCP and payor requests for various data / information. Facilitates regular Commercial Operations updates to the International leadership team. Supports the short-term planning for the commercial team including budgeting, training, and systems requirements. Ensures department staff is properly trained, per designated training plan, before assuming job responsibilities. Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:




Skilled at clearly conveying in-depth knowledge to all levels within, and outside of, the organization. Skilled at creating a cooperative team environment. Able to objectively evaluate situations and make recommendations for changes in light of overall project demands. Advanced computer software skills, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and territory alignment/mapping software. Demonstrated ability to develop complex formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, and CRM databases. High attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while delivering a very accurate work product. Adept at identifying areas of process improvement and implementing solutions. Skilled at influencing outcomes by providing strong data analytics. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience. 10 years related experience in a sales organization, medical device company preferred, including: Experience with developing territory alignments for field sales force Experience in developing management reports and sales reporting tools Experience leading other direct reports Experience with manipulation and analysis of large amounts of data. Experience with presentation of complex information. Prior experience with the use of analytical tools to support executive decision making is strongly preferred. 5 years prior experience leading/supervising a customer facing department and associated staff is preferred.
