An exciting opportunity has arisen with MSK Sports Injury Clinic to work in our multi-award winning, 5-star state of the art clinic in Westerhope. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, Sports Therapist / Soft Tissue Therapist to join our rapidly growing and innovative team.

This position is a permanent salaried position working 30 hours per week

Your hours will be between the hours of 07:00 - 18:40 Monday - Friday and also including every other Saturday or Sunday 07:00-12:40.

There will be the opportunity for progression to full time.

We've continued to grow and are seeing record numbers of new clients. It's an exciting time and we're looking for a great Sports Therapist / Soft Tissue Therapist to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with a positive approach to helping their patients live better pain free.

Applicants should hold a degree in Sport Therapy / Rehabilitation or a minimum level 4 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy. Candidates must be excellent at communicating, building relationships, team working and be committed to excellence in clinical standards and customer service. We are also looking for a therapist who is keen to think outside the box and help us grow our fantastic service.

Job Requirements:

- Undertake a comprehensive assessment and formulate a diagnosis of patients

- Use well developed clinical reasoning of the patient's needs and provide clinic treatment.

- Plan and implement therapy to improve condition and/or reduce pain and develop appropriate care plan.

- Explain the treatment required to the client

- Provide massage services for new patients to help build a private clinics list.

- To work as an autonomous practitioner taking responsibility for the management of patients on own caseload without direct supervision.

- Maintain patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards and clinic policies.

- Previous experience within a clinical setting is essential as you will be working mainly independently.

- Strong communication, IT, organisation & time management skills

- Use of outcome measures to demonstrate treatment effect

- Use of Sports Massage as a treatment modality

- Promoting the business via the business social media channels

- Respond to all communications from clients (email, phone and social media)

- Hit all KPI set by the business

- Drive 5-star feedback from all clients

Education (Essential):

- Bachelors in Sports Therapy / Rehabilitation

- Level 4 in Sports Massage Therapy

Education (Desirable):

- Myofascial Dry Cupping Therapy

- Medical Acupuncture (Dry Needling)

- Shockwave Therapy Level 1

Pay: 27,668.00 per year
