Sale Sports Club

Sale Sports Club is one of the oldest multi-sports clubs in the Northwest.

We have over 15 years' experience in school work and sports camps. We have been able to sustain a motivated team delivering outstanding coaching sessions and have worked with over 15 schools in the Sale area.

With our continued growth and success we are looking for a sports coach to deliver curriculum sessions and after school clubs at local primary schools within Sale Ideally, we would hope the successful candidate would aspire to manage one of our holiday camps. The position would suit an experienced coach, teacher, or individual who is looking to progress their skills in sports coaching in a school setting and lead in the delivery of our sports camps over school holidays.

Requirements

Leading and coordinating the delivery of coaching sessions in Primary Schools for curriculum and afterschool clubs, as well as leading holiday camps

Set high expectations that inspire, challenge and motivate students Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons and extra-curricular activities Ensure full integration into class activities Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children Provide excellent customer service to schools, parents and Sale Sports Club Able to teach a variety of sports

To be considered for this role you should have:

At least 1 National Governing Body Level 2 coaching certificate or teaching qualification (essential) Experience working with children Confident classroom/ behaviour management Be friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude Knowledge of Safeguarding and safe practice Planning and organisational skills The ability to work with children and schools to achieve positive outcomes Good written and oral communication skills. Full UK Driving Licence & access to own transport (preferable)

Appointment will be subject to enhanced DBS check

Schedule: Monday to Friday (up to 22 hours in term time and 47.5 hours at holiday camps, average 28 hours a week). Increased hours would be available given suitable experience.
