We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Sports Coach to join the Little Scrummers Coaching Team , is this you?

Little Scrummers Rugby Ltd (LSR) is a professional children's sports coaching service founded in 2009 focusing on coaching of Tag rugby for children from 18 months - 7 years to create pathways into club rugby and team sports/activities. Sessions run on both Saturdays and Sundays.

LSR deliveries non-contact Tag rugby coaching for boys and girls developing-

-Motor skills

-Teamwork

-Evading and tagging skills

-A positive impact on communication, behavioral and social skills

The role will start with an initial training period provided to ensure that you are up to speed with coaching delivery for lessons, games, and our practices. Following a successful training period this will then develop into a permanent role to be either an-

Assistant Coach

Lead Coach

Assistant coaches will be given opportunity to develop into a Lead Coach and cover sessions or take on their own club/current club. Classes run on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Required

Experience or regular participation in coaching/ Sports

Right to work in the UK

Attend training sessions through the year as required by LSR.

Approachable and enthusiastic to parents and children alike

Highly motivated

Excellent communication skills

Enhanced DBS or be able to undertake one

First Aid qualified

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programs to enhance athletes' skills and performance. Teach sports techniques and strategies while ensuring safety and adherence to rules. Monitor and evaluate athletes' progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain First Aid Certification and respond to injuries or emergencies during practices and events. Foster a positive and motivating environment through effective communication and teamwork. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize competitions and events.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 6.40-20.00 per hour
