Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of our sports facility. This role requires a passionate individual who is dedicated to promoting sports and fitness within the community. The Sports Center Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all activities run smoothly, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and patrons.

Responsibilities



Oversee the daily operations of the sports centre, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and safe for use. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of service and productivity. Develop and implement programmes and events that engage the community and promote participation in sports activities. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, revenue generation, and expense management. Build strong relationships with local sports clubs, schools, and community organisations to enhance partnerships and increase participation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as facility policies. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction. Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members to achieve common goals.

Skills



Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, patrons, and community partners. Proven organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sports management principles and practices is advantageous. Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, reporting, and financial management. A passion for sports and fitness with an understanding of community engagement strategies. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by events or programming.

Pay: 13.40 per hour
