Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a new member of our team. The ideal candidate will have a sporting background and be interested in health and fitness. You will be based at the South Devon College campus in Paignton and work between two locations onsite at the Sports Centre and gym facility based at the Long Road and Vantage Point locations.

Shifts will consist of evenings and weekends so a degree of flexibility is needed.

Qualifications in first aid at work, gym instructor and class instruction would also be advantageous but not essential. Qualifications in class instruction and personal training could give the right candidate for running self employed alongside this position.

Regular shift hours include evenings and weekends.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start or further their journey in the sporting and fitness industry .There is opportunity to grow in this position in an ever expanding role.

Their role will include setting up for bookings, maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, reception duties, general administration and assisting customers. If you have good operational experience but no fitness qualifications this could also be provided.

Candidates must be 18 or above due to working alone.

All employees must go through a DBS process with the college and ideally hold a first aid qualification already.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 13 - 16 per week
