What we do

Sporty Scholars Kids Holiday Camps is a multi-sport & activity camp for children aged 3-14 over the school holidays. We ensure every child is safe, active and has a fun experience at our holiday camps!

We are looking for

Sports and Activity Leaders and Sports and Activity Assistants

Job summary

Sports and activity coaches have a group of children each day doing fun sport and themed activities with them. We offer specialised sports which are Tennis,
Cricket, and Football. We offer a variety of other sports such as: Archery, Dodgeball,
Basketball, Floor Hockey, and other sports!

Main job responsibilities;

Ensure adequate preparation & set up for activities and sports Deliver the scheduled activities throughout the day, adjusting the skill level for the age group you're leading You should assist in day to day general duties as instructed by the camp manager You should work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children You must be energetic and driven to build a relationship with the children and ensure their time at camp is an enjoyable experience Familiarise yourself with Sporty Scholars Camps policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

Reliable Be passionate about working with children Excellent communication skills

Schedule

:

School Holidays: Monday to Friday only Closed on Bank Holidays

Working hours

: Typically 8:30am-3:45pm but we operate between 7:30 am-5:30pm

The role is subjected to an enhanced DBS check.

Sporty Scholars is committed to safe practices in recruitment and selection that includes consideration of issues to do with child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS check if they are not already on the DBS Update Service and supply us with references.
