Learning DNA is a multidisciplinary Education Clinic based in Solihull, committed to supporting children and young people with a range of learning needs. Our experienced team works collaboratively to provide personalised, effective support in a warm and professional environment.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working exclusively on a 1:1 basis with children, including those who are non-verbal and autistic. You must be HCPC-registered and confident working independently within a supportive team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 speech and language therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs
Assess, plan, and implement therapy programmes for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
Work collaboratively with other professionals within the clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team
Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers
Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and progress
Requirements:
HCPC Registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children, including non-verbal autistic children
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to evidence-based, child-centred therapy
Successful candidates will be required to undergo enhanced DBS checks
