ROLE: Specification Sales Manager
CONTRACT: Full time, Permanent Role
SALARY: c\xc2\xa345,000 plus exceptional bonus, company car, and excellent benefits. Salary negotiable, dependent upon skills and experience
BASE: Hybrid / Field Based

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Profiles Sales Team as a Sales Specification Manager, to cover our Midlands and North Regions. This role covers half of the UK and encompasses the territory from Birmingham across to Lincoln, and up to Scotland. This is a pivotal role for our Profiles Team, and as such the salary is negotiable dependent upon skills and experience.

WHAT OUR SPECIFICATION SALES MANAGERS DO:

  • Plan, manage and implement a personal business plan in line with business development strategy
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods
  • Participate in networking opportunities in appropriate work related and social activities
  • Assume responsibility for their assigned customers
  • Resolve day to day problems, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maximise the development of new and existing customers
  • Travel regularly within their assigned counties and regions
  • Generate specification opportunities within the commercial construction sector
  • Engage with architects and specifiers, liaising with contractors and clients
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR SPECIFICATION SALES MANAGERS:
  • Solid experience within the Commercial Construction / RMI sector
  • Capable of structuring and delivering promotional sales presentations to a diverse customer base
  • Experience with Sales process tracking from start to finish
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use information and create forecasts
  • The ability to write professional, effective and clear reports and proposals
  • Generalist experience of marketing and business development
  • A full UK driving license
  • Experience of creating and maximising opportunities and closing sales
  • Experience with Sales process tracking from start to finish
