This is a direct replacement for an established post which forms part of the Band 6 OT neurology rotation. The B6 Specialist Occupational Therapist role is integral to the delivery of specialist neuroscience/ neurorehabilitation services across several locations including St George's main hospital site, Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton, and the Community Neurorehabilitation team in Wandsworth.Main duties of the jobThis post is integral to the delivery of activity within neurosciences/neurorehabilitation with clear specifications around staffing ratios, timeliness of assessment and intensity of rehabilitation, supporting the occupational therapists in the early assessment, early rehabilitation, functional retraining, and discharge planning of patients.
