We use evidence-based practice within each of our service lines, as defined by our clinical steering groups, of which Occupational Therapists play a key role. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction. You will hold supervisory responsibility for others, and take a leadership role in specific projects. An integral part of this role will be supporting student education within the team. This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework.About usCygnet Health Care was established in 1988. Compton Ward, a 15 bed acute service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.There is a dedicated clinical team who provide multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry, and nursing staff. You will be supported by a Band 5 OT, an OTA & 2 Activity Co-ordinators across site.Occupational Therapy DirectorateUnder the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists.
