Cygnet Aspen Clinic is a specialist service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and associated complex needs. We provide assessment, stabilisation, treatment and rehabilitation for up to 16 women.Main duties of the jobAt Cygnet Healthcare, we have a strong occupational focus through support and direction from Clinical Leads and our Occupational Therapy Directors. We use evidence-based practice within each of our service lines, as defined by our clinical steering groups, of which Occupational Therapists play a key role. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction. You will hold supervisory responsibility for others, and take a leadership role in specific projects. An integral part of this role will be supporting student education within the team. This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework.About usCygnet Health Care was established in 1988. Our multi-modal treatment pathway consists of a range of therapeutic models including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), and Compassion focused Therapy (CFT).This position offers an opportunity to shape and develop occupational therapy provision at Aspen Clinic. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality assessments and interventions supporting patient recovery through evidence based occupational therapy approaches.Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with other professional to enhance patient outcomes and promote functional independence. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapy Assistant on site, ensuring high standards of practice and professional development.Occupational Therapy DirectorateUnder the leadership of our occupational therapy directors, we support over 180 Occupational Therapists and over 300 OT support staff.
