Are you a confident and engaging ASD teaching assistant? Do you have a real passion for helping every child reach their full potential? Are you able to differentiate your lessons for a variety of abilities?
A fantastic school in St Helens is seeking an experienced ASD teaching assistant to join their friendly team.
The post will be teaching structured lessons to a Key Stage 2 class and will involve working with a team of teaching assistants, to ensure all students\' needs are met.
This is a rewarding role and requires applicants to have a background of supporting children with ASD. The role is FULL time on a week by week contract with the opportunity to go longer term for the right ASD teaching assistant.
The ideal ASD teaching assistant will be:
- A Level 2 with ASD experience
- Resilient and patient
- Able to work with both groups and one-to-one
