We are currently looking for enthusiastic and flexible
Spa Attendant
to join our Spa & Leisure team at SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel. This is a
permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week,
working 5 days over 7. You must be able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
We offer a
competitive salary of 12.50 per hour plus gratuities
and excellent employee benefits.
Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.*
The Spa Attendant ensures that all the public and operational areas of the Spa are expertly cleaned and presented to a luxury 5standard. All tasks will have a guest centric focus and you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience for our Spa visitors and guests.
Your Key Responsibilities:
To consistently ensure that all operational public areas of the Spa and changing rooms are cleaned and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best experience for our Spa visitors and guests
You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas
You will be responsible for the regular cleaning and presentation of both the indoor and outdoor Spa areas, including the gym, pool area, relaxation lounge and changing rooms
Be responsible for restocking and replacing items in the changing rooms including towels and amenities
You will interact with all guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner, looking to exceed their expectations
You will be aware of all Spa retail products and treatments and actively promote these to our guests
You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition and well maintained, reporting any concerns to the Spa Manager
You will bring your experience to identify and contribute innovative and practical ways to improve the overall quality and process within the department
You will ensure that all compliance, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures are followed
Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed
You will assist the Spa Management team with any ad hoc duties or requests when necessary
Your Knowledge & Capabilities:
You are enthusiastic and have a positive personality with the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships
You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to organise your time effectively
You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work
You enjoy working as part of a team as much as you enjoy working independently
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
You take pride in your personal presentation and demonstrate a high level of hygiene and grooming
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Previous customer service experience preferrable
Ability to communicate proficiently in English
