Bridge House Nursing Home is a 53 bedded nursing home, comprising of two units, one 20 bed and one 33 bed. We offer long term nursing and dementia care to vulnerable adults. We also offer respite and rehabilitation, so we have a variety of residents across the whole site.
```Duties```
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items
- Monitor food costs and work towards maintaining profitability
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
