what you\'ll be doing

As a Solutions Architect, you\'ll be

• Working together with our internal functional delivery, data and integrations architecture teams, application vendors, functional consultants, and delivery partners, through end to end functional and technical design and specification, solution evaluation and recommendation, solution delivery, documentation, testing and implementation.
• Understanding business requirements and translating them into world class end-to-end solutions that deliver our finance capability and business process needs.
• Communicating solution recommendations and existing architecture to a varied audience, both technical and non-technical
• Defining the solution architecture principles that guide the design, testing, and implementation of finance / supply chain / manufacturing / hr / plm solutions from bug fixes to system upgrades to strategic transformational pieces of project work
• Providing solution architecture and design governance through Architecture & Design Forums, supporting and challenging pieces of proposed change work and based on your system knowledge, proposing changes yourself
• Playing an active role establishing and defining the purpose, vision and practices of our enterprise architecture function as well as our functional delivery teams.
• Championing end-to-end thinking, analysis and design across our systems landscape

you\'ll have

• Holistic end to end process and solution architecture and design experience gained from working on major enterprise process and systems change delivery
• Adept at mapping and translating business capability and functional process needs into end to end solution designs
• Able to understand and explain complex functionality and technology solutions clearly and simply to non-expert stakeholders
• Experience of managing process and solution design governance, including evaluating and challenging solution architecture and design recommendations from application vendors, integration partners, functional and technical solution architects
• Experience of integrating ERP systems upstream and downstream with other business systems e.g. MDM / PLM, HRIS, Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, BI, Manufacturing Execution Systems
