Role Overview
We're looking for a Solution Architect with a strong background in SCADA systems to join our client 's growing team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and deliver robust technical solutions that integrate SCADA technologies with our broader enterprise architecture.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that meet operational and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and architecture of SCADA-based solutions tailored to customer needs.
Define system specifications, data flows, and integration strategies across IT/OT layers.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement and test solutions.
Provide technical leadership in proposal development, project planning, and system rollout.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory standards.
Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to SCADA and industrial automation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Engineer working with SCADA platforms (e.g., GE iFIX, Siemens WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition).
Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3, IEC 60870-5).
Experience integrating SCADA systems with MES, ERP, or cloud platforms.
Solid understanding of network architecture, cybersecurity, and IT/OT convergence.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's a plus).
Desired Skills :
Experience in industries such as Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing.
Familiarity with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS) for IIoT and SCADA integration.
Certifications in TOGAF, ISA/IEC 62443, or similar frameworks.
