Mosaic Island are experts in Design and Assurance of complex IT change - from strategy through to delivery - enabling our clients to accelerate and exceed their business ambitions with confidence.

We are currently seeking a supplier to provide us with Solution Architecture services across an insurance platform. On behalf of Mosaic Island, you will provide Solution Architecture expertise for the project. Knowledge/experience in insurance systems and sector is highly desirable but not essential.

You will need to be senior enough to engage with and influence stakeholders but also hands-on across multiple programmes, with cloud and data architecture depth and business change experience.

The first 3 months will most likely be the initial discovery.

Deliverables to include:

• Production of architecture artefacts (eg HLDs, risk registers), aligned with clients architecture principles
• Hands-on activities to drive architectural adoption eg running workshops, engagement with engineering teams
• Produce target and logical architecture- to include data, security, integration and information architecture target views
• Produce transition plans - eg MVP, MVP Plus etc
• Manage stakeholder engagement on Architecture

Key Lead Solution Architect Supplier Experience:

• Strong solution architecture - deep experience in applying enterprise architecture to solutions and business change programmes
• Broad Solution Architecture skills (senior level) with an applications background (not infrastructure)
• Experience across data, integrations, security, applications
• Experience of Sitecore/CRM platforms
• Understanding of microservices and API development
• Comfortable producing target architecture documents
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We are looking for someone to start ASAP. The initial contract would be 3-6 months. You will be expected to work in a hybrid arrangement with travel to the office in London City 2-3 days per week. This is yet to be determined as Inside or Outside IR35 but do expect either.
