Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer (roofer) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as proficiency in using various tools and equipment.

Duties

Install solar panels on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement and installation methods for solar systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations effectively. Dig trenches for electrical wiring as needed, ensuring proper placement and safety measures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process.

Experience

Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively. Familiarity with electrical systems is advantageous. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies within the renewable energy sector is essential. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently when required.
