Software Engineer

A renowned defence organisation operating at the forefront of advanced technologies are currently seeking Software Engineers to join their dynamic team. As a Software Engineer you will be involved in creating cutting-edge solutions that drive their mission to serve clients, maintain competitiveness, and enhance productivity across various industries.

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for analysing, designing, coding, and modifying complex software using languages such as C++ & Java.
• Assess complex software designs to identify and address design flaws.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, debugging, testing, configuring, and deploying complex, real-time software solutions.
• Apply the latest software development tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and guide development efforts to meet their needs.
• Participate in external projects with other companies on various software products.
• Act as a technical collaborator, mentoring teams and presenting technical designs at customer meetings.

Software Engineer Experience & Skills Required:

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of software development experience.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
• Exposure to Linux and real-time operating systems.
• Experience in real-time embedded low-level software development.
• Current C++ and Java software development experience on Windows or Linux.
• Knowledge of source control systems and configuration management practices.

Software Engineer Benefits:

• Base Salary \xc2\xa345,000-65,000 (dependant on skill set and experience)
