Role description:

As a Software Engineer you will be working with National Security Customers as part of DevOps teams with regular contact with end-users to understand, design, develop and deploy applications and services. DevOps ways of working is fully embraced, and therefore Engineers who enjoy playing a role in the full delivery lifecycle are extremely valued. In this role you\'ll be identifying the right technologies to use for the job, and will have access to services such as Pluralsight. Your work will not only make a huge impact on the systems you\'re using, but also for the security of the UK.

Experience necessary for a Software Engineer:

• Programming with C++ / Java
• Experience with Windows and Linux
• Agile environment team working - Scrum / Lean / Kanban

Bonus points but not essential for a Software Engineer:

• Machine Learning software e.g. Amazon / Azure / TensorFlow
• Deploying/Managing Cloud Computing e.g. AWS / MS Azure
• Containerisation e.g. Docker / Kubernetes
• Document, relational or graph database systems
• Software configuration e.g. Ansible
• Public Sector/Government/Defence experience
