Software Engineer - West London - GBP 50,000-55,000 DOE

A new and exciting position has recently become live with a global organisation in the aerospace industry.

They are searching for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant must have at least 2-3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Architecture or a related field. Experience in the Avionics, Aircraft, and/or Aerospace Defence industry is desirable.

As a Software Engineer, you will work in cross-functional teams through the entire product development cycle of state-of-the-art ground software for commercial aircraft. You will transform customer requirements into full user stories and architect design for the developers.

This role requires you to work on-site in West London four times a week. This means you must live in and have the right to work in the UK.

Skills and Abilities:

• Working experience in Python or other computer programming languages
• Working experience in AWS or another cloud provider
• Working experience in Angular or another user interface framework
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office application tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
• Solid working knowledge of Design Portioning, Digital Communication, and Software Structures is a key requirement
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
