Our Software Engineering team at bpha is all about using modern technologies to help develop solutions to solve business problems, provide value and help bpha work towards delivering excellent customer service!
We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to work as part of the team, and under guidance from the Technical Architect and Senior Engineer to design, deliver and maintain bpha\xe2\x80\x99s in-house software integrations.
You will also work with the wider IT Team to ensure the tools, technologies and techniques used are appropriate and help to add value to the processes and services delivered.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining a busy team who utilise up to date technology, the role would potentially suit those people with an interest in technology, as well as those people looking to return to a coding role.
What you will be doing:
Working as part of an agile team to develop the software architecture for the integration of bpha\xe2\x80\x99s legacy systems
Design re-usable, testable components, and associated processes
Share knowledge and learn from colleagues, supporting the team\xe2\x80\x99s continuous professional development
Maintain and enhance deployed software as the external environment changes
Collaborate with colleagues in the software engineering team, the IT team and the wider business to understand business needs to deliver bpha\xe2\x80\x99s on-going programme of projects
We\xe2\x80\x99d love to meet someone with:

Good communication skills to consult and influence
Degree educated or previous experience in a tech related environment
Ideally you will have Full Stack Experience, for example Microsoft C#, .NET. Core, MS SQL, MVC, Web Development, HTML, JS, CSS, however training and support will be provided
We work in a very flexible way as a team and can offer lots of home working and the role can be home based most of the time. Please note you may be required in the office from time to time for meetings etc, so this needs to be a realistic commute. We can also offer flexible hours where required as well as reduced hours if you are looking to work less than 5 days a week. We would encourage conversation about this at the interview stage.
