About the Role
At ASOS, we take real pride in our best-in-class microservices architecture, whilst sticking to the ASOS values of Authentic, Brave, Creative & Disciplined, and are looking for Software Engineers to support and deliver the on-going software which makes ASOS awesome!
As a Software Engineer in one of our 30 engineering platforms operating at hyper-scale receiving thousands of requests per second, you\'ll be a hands-on engineer pushing best practice engineering processes and approaches, and driving the capabilities of the platform, ensuring continuous product improvement and ongoing development of engineers through coaching, mentoring and pairing.
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for multiple, highly skilled .net Software Engineers and have a variety of vacancies across different teams, including Digital Platforms, Supply Chain Technology and Data Science.

\xc2\xb7 Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software into production
\xc2\xb7 Take a test first approach from business requirements through to code
\xc2\xb7 You will continually develop and improve our code and technology, whilst playing an active role in the conception of brand-new features for our millions of global customers
\xc2\xb7 Coaching and mentoring more Junior team members
\xc2\xb7 Keep our customers happy by writing high quality code to handle our hyper-scale demand
\xc2\xb7 Join our regular Tech Develops days to learn new things, take part in internal and external hackathons, share your knowledge and help to drive improvements in engineering

Qualifications
It would be great if you\xe2\x80\x99ve got experience with all or some of the below; \xc2\xb7 Extensive development experience with .NET Core or C#
\xc2\xb7 Cloud computing (Azure, AWS or GCP)
\xc2\xb7 Cloud databases (SQL, NoSQL)
\xc2\xb7 Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, ARM, Bicep or similar)
\xc2\xb7 CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar)
\xc2\xb7 Performance/load testing
\xc2\xb7 Test-Driven Development best practices using TDD, BDD/ATDD
\xc2\xb7 Design patterns (architecture, system, security, networking)
\xc2\xb7 Cloud integration (Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
\xc2\xb7 Docker, Kubernetes (preferably AKS) \xc2\xb7 Experience of working within an integration domain
\xc2\xb7 MuleSoft
\xc2\xb7 An understanding of Content Management concepts and principles:
o Publishing
o Workflow
o Authoring / Editing
o Renderings
o Layouts
o Search
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Sitecore
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Solr/ZooKeeper
