Software Developer - Cross Domain

An innovative defence organisation in Yeovil are actively looking for a Software Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing technical solutions, software development, and ensuring the highest software quality standards are maintained.

Software Developer Responsibilities:

• Innovate and design technical solutions, taking the lead in software development and testing.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to project processes and industry-standard software development practices.
• Support system test and integration activities to uphold robustness and reliability.
• Create detailed technical documentation to facilitate seamless communication within the team.
• Generate and manage requirements, aligning development efforts with project objectives.

Software Developer Skills and Experiences:

• 2+ years experience in C++ development.
• Familiarity with modern libraries, including STL, Apache libraries (e.g., NiFi).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Development experience in either Linux or Windows environments.
• Experience with defect tracking software, with a preference for JIRA.
• Familiarity with automated build and continuous integration suites.
