We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated soft play assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a soft play assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while effectively managing sales transactions and assisting with inventory management. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic hospitality setting and have experience with children or early childhood education.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them
Manage sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Communicate cafe menu knowledge effectively to customers
Maintain an organised and visually appealing soft play and cafe area
Maintain cleanliness in the cafe and soft play area at all times
Prepare and serve drinks to guests
Maintain a safe environment for children and other guests at all times
Qualifications
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential.
Background in working in a setting with children is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience working with children is highly desirable, particularly in the early years age range
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
