Salary: Grade 9, \xc2\xa335,411 - \xc2\xa3 40,478 per annum.

2 positions x 37 hours per week

Your role:

In this role you are required to co-ordinate safeguarding work across the interface of statutory and non-statutory safeguarding adult\xe2\x80\x99s work under vulnerable adults risk management process. You will lead professional multi agency meetings to develop appropriate protection planning with individuals identified to be living in high risk safeguarding situations who do not meet the criteria for safeguarding under The Care Act 2014. You will work to identify appropriate lead professionals to continue to implement and review protection planning identified for the individual. You will take part in a weekly rota for the screening of safeguarding alerts received into the local authority under The Care Act 2014. You will contribute to our Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process on a rota basis.

About you:

You will have at least three years post qualifying experience working in adult social care with experience of multi-agency working. You will have experience of using the electronic record system Mosaic or similar. You will already have or be willing to achieve a secondary qualification either BIA, AMHP or Practice Educator and contribute to this area of practice periodically in order to support the ongoing development of the adult social care workforce. You will be legally agile with a sound understanding of The Care Act, MCA, MHA and the interfaces between the frameworks in order to promote best practice. Ideally you will have some experience of working with individuals that use addictive substances. You will have experience in making swift decisions providing reasons for your decision making but most of all have a wealth of enthusiasm to safeguard adults at risk of harm from themselves or others.
