Job Description

Seven Asset Management are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to drive awareness and engagement for the Seven Group of companies. This role will be responsible for curating and posting across multiple social accounts, aligning with the sales team, and supporting wider company objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with an understanding of B2B audiences, content strategy, and social media engagement.

This role will be based in Ipswich at our head office, you'll benefit from creative free reign, the opportunity to develop new social media channels and licence to experiment with new approaches that continue to develop our brand awareness to expand engagement and deliver results.

From time to time, you may be required to assist with other digital and offline work assisting the overall day-to-day running of the marketing department.

Responsibilities:



1. Social Media Strategy & Execution



Develop and execute a social media strategy throughout the Seven Group to support brand awareness, engagement, and growth objectives. Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Align social content with editorial, marketing, and overall business goals.

2. Content Development & Management



Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality content tailored for company social media accounts. Collaborate with the various senior management teams to understand their business needs and objectives. Leverage multimedia content (graphics, video, infographics) to drive engagement.

3. Community Engagement & Amplification



Monitor and engage with industry conversations, responding to relevant trends. Develop and implement strategies to encourage Seven team members to share company content on their personal accounts.

4. Performance Tracking & Optimization



Monitor and analyse social media metrics and KPIs to assess campaign performance, gather insights, and make data-driven improvements. (followers, engagement, reach, impressions)

5. Collaboration & Coordination



Work closely with sales and senior management throughout the Seven Group to ensure messaging consistency. Stay up to date with industry trends and platform updates.

Requirements:



2+ years experience in content creation and growing social media accounts for businesses. Driving licence required A strong portfolio that demonstrates your eye for detail across multiple platforms In-depth knowledge within the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging B2B social platforms. Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly sales and senior management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. Data-driven with the ability to interpret analytics and adjust strategies accordingly. Strong project management and time management skills.

It's not essential, but we'd also love if you had experience in any of the following areas:



Knowledge of social media analytics tools - LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics, Oktopost, or similar. Video editing skills. Knowledge of 3D asset creation using Blender or similar software.
