We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager to support our Emerging Markets team. Location: UK or remote.
SCOPE OF THE JOB:
As the Social Media Manager you will be responsible for the growth and development of the Social Media team in the Emerging Markets Division for Catena Media. The role will encompass the management and training of existing employees and hiring of external contracted workers to assemble a team which can deliver growth in Latam (along with the possibility to expand into other regions/verticals). You will use your Social Media experience to build successful channels for acquisition across the various social platforms whilst adhering to the rules in the local jurisdiction. This role will initially start off more operational and the Social Media Manager will be more involved in the day to day running of the channels whilst the team is being established and trained.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
Create a profitable project which can be scaled to more markets/verticals (according to market research, trends scouting and shared inputs with the team at large)
Use the allocated budget to reach the agreed upon KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
Coach the team to use best practice and publish content in a timely manner
Accountable for publishing compliant content in line with local regulations
Liaise with the team to utilize best deals
Analyze data and trends to ensure best results
Deliver Monthly P&L along with strategic updates
Visit your team when required along with traveling to conferences
At a later stage your experience may be requested to assist the U.S Division
Leadership and team management responsibilities: Managing team performance effectively through the practicing of ongoing performance management, including conducting performance reviews and regular 1-1 meetings Leading by example by delivering positive results and being a visible Catena ambassador Communicating effectively and ensures information is delivered in a clear and timely manner Taking ownership of recruitment and selection for your team by working closely with HR and TA teams Enabling team and individual growth from induction stage to ongoing learning and development
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
Min 3 years experience in social media management and monetization on various platforms
Experience in managing a team (including freelancers)
Experience in managing P&L and reporting on KPIs achievements
Experience in affiliation (Gambling/Sports betting would be a strong advantage)
Ability to perform market research, opportunity scouting and compliance framework adherence checks
Experience in working for Latam/APAC/Esports vertical
Experience in Funnel analysis (would be an advantage)
Experience in PPC (would be an advantage)
Fluent in English with strong communication skills
Fluent in Portuguese/Spanish/Japanese (would be a strong advantage)
