We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, enabling them to create compelling content that resonates with our target market.

Duties

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including text, images, and videos that reflect the brand's voice and values. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly to comments and messages. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media and public relations to ensure innovative approaches are utilised. Assist in managing public relations efforts by crafting press releases and engaging with media outlets as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance metrics effectively. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour
