Are you a scroll-stopping storyteller with a passion for all things social? Join the vibrant and constantly changing world of pubs and bars as we're looking for a creative, proactive and plugged-in Social Media Executive to support the planning, creation and execution of engaging social media content.



The Social Media Executive will play a key role in promoting website content, growing an engaged audience and building a strong presence across our social channels. The role will focus on delivering commercial value by creating content that supports event sponsors and digital partners in a meaningful and measurable way.

What you'll be doing:





Planning and collaborating about our content calendar Coming up with creative ideas and content with our wider team Engaging with our communities across a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram Jumping into trending discussions and helping our channels stay relevant and reactive Scheduling and publishing content that's designed to perform Covering live events, snapping behind-the-scenes moments and helping make the unforgettable online Tracking stats, spotting trends and turning insights into ideas Collaborating with editorial and events teams to ensure everything is aligned and exciting Diving into the trade first hand, visiting operators to flag and gather content when out and about Help to judge for the UK's largest pub awards - the Great British Pub Awards and the Publican Awards

What you'll need:





Ability to analyse data, extract insights and make data-driven decisions Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout, Buffer, Hootsuite) Strong creative thinking and ability to produce engaging, on-brand content Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills for managing multiple projects Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams An understanding of social media trends and best practices Experience with social media advertising, particularly for paid campaigns would be desirable but is not essential
