External Engagement and Global - Strategic Marketing





This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis within External Engagement and Global.



This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - with some time on campus and some from home.


Summary of the role



The University's social media team is responsible for the core brand channels across all social platforms. The team's work spans content creation, campaign management, and community engagement. The brand channels play a critical role in communicating with our local, national and global audiences, including prospective students, researchers, and supporters



The role of the Social Media Coordinator is to support the delivery of an exceptional social media experience our audiences. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the team to manage the University's social media presence, creating content to effectively communicate stories spanning research, student experience, and global initiatives.



The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day community management across our social media channels, communicating with students, academics, partners and stakeholders. A champion of social media best practice, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the team, colleagues from External Engagement and Global, and beyond to ensure the University of Exeter's content is engaging and professional.
