Social Media Associate

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Location: London (In-Person, 5 Days a Week)

Salary: 26,000 per year

Team: Social Media - part of the Productions arm at Duvet Flip

Our Mission

At Duvet Flip, our mission is simple and bold: helping millions of people make the flip. Whether it's flipping a mindset, a lifestyle, or the world around them--we exist to spark action where there's been hesitation. Through our four pillars--Productions, Platforms, Programmes, and Products--we're building a new kind of media company that blends storytelling with social change.

About the Role

We're building our first-ever Social Media Team, and this is our foundational hire. As our Social Media Associate, you'll be the operational force behind how our content reaches the world--ensuring it's scheduled, repurposed, and delivered consistently and on time.

You'll be embedded in the Productions team, managing content across a growing portfolio of digital shows, and working closely with our producers, creatives, and platform leads. This is a brilliant entry point for someone passionate about media, systems, and making things actually happen--with huge potential to grow as we do.

Key Responsibilities

Content Scheduling & Publishing: Use tools like Buffer, Later, or native platforms to schedule and post content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others. Show Marketing Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain the content marketing schedules for our different shows--ensuring every episode, clip, and post is properly planned and accounted for. Deadline Accountability: Make sure we never miss a moment--owning the timelines and delivery windows for content going live. Content Repurposing: Turn existing content (videos, podcasts, blogs) into fresh formats for different platforms--e.g., TikTok clips, Instagram carousels, or short LinkedIn posts. Platform-Specific Optimisation: Tailor captions, formats, and hashtags so that content performs best on each channel. Engagement Monitoring: Keep an eye on content performance and flag anything worth celebrating or escalating. Content Archive Management: Maintain an organized library of what's been posted, when, and where.

Who You Are

Detail-Obsessed: You thrive on structure and love a well-run schedule. Digitally Fluent: You know how different platforms work and feel confident using content tools. Calm Under Pressure: You don't flinch at deadlines--you thrive on them. A Team Player: You're excited to grow with a team, take feedback well, and pitch in where needed.

Be Ruthlessly Kind - Direct and honest, always delivered with heart. Be More Elephant - Long memories, strong bonds, and deep empathy. Be Super Coachable - Open to learning, eager to grow, and never stuck in your ways.
