Salary band range:

38,000 to 42,000 p.a., dependent on experience, plus bonus potential

About the Role



As a Social Impact Project Manager, you will manage and deliver multiple social research and consultancy projects, applying your experience in research, impact management, stakeholder engagement, social value or evaluation, to design and deliver quantitative and qualitative research across a wide range of environments and communities. You will develop data analysis and collection tools, write comprehensive reports on findings, and manage relationships with clients, service users, partners, and stakeholder groups.

In addition, you will be involved in leading on strategy development for our clients, and also support the development of projects that benefit the social value sector, such as Social Value Manager (our online platform), the Global Value Exchange (our collaboration with Social Value UK), and SVDHA (for the global development and humanitarian assistance sectors). Finally, you will support the development of the team and the enhancement of our capabilities as a growing consultancy.

Key responsibilities



Research and Data Analysis

Manage and lead the design and delivery of mixed methods research and evaluation consultancy projects with a range of audiences, beneficiaries, and target groups Plan, conduct, analyse primary and secondary research, including social, economic & policy research Enhance our core research practices (survey design quality, statistical analysis, economic modelling, qualitative research)
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Manage client relationships during project delivery, providing regular touchpoints and progress updates, and deliver direct engagement with individuals or facilitate group consultations Produce effective research reports and presentations which include high quality visualisations Support clients and their partners to co-ordinate and deliver Social Value initiatives and targets
Team and Business Development

Contribute to the improvement of project management and operational capabilities Support the management of a growing team and multiple associates Support our business development and communication efforts

Skills/Experience

Essential criteria

Minimum 1-2 years' experience managing and delivering client-facing research and evaluations Experience using social research methods, both qualitative and quantitative primary research Experience collecting, cleaning, modelling, analysing, and presenting data with proficiency in Excel Analysing and presenting information in a clear and accessible way (written and oral) Managing and prioritising tasks across multiple projects independently or as part of a team
Desirable criteria

Experience in social impact, social value or impact management in one of our client sectors Experience with economic methods such as cost-benefit analysis, value for money or SROI Knowledge of data capture software and survey tools Managing small project teams to complete research projects or matrix management experience Knowledge of grant funding application processes and impact programme delivery approaches
