We're looking for a
Social Care Consultant
to provide leadership, oversight, and compliance support across multiple children's homes. Acting as the
Responsible Individual
, you'll work with Registered Managers to ensure homes meet regulatory standards and deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to Registered Managers
Ensure services meet Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations 2015
Oversee safeguarding procedures and ensure safe practice
Drive quality improvement and positive outcomes
Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections
Manage staffing, budgets, and resources efficiently
Build effective partnerships with local authorities and external professionals
Lead on staff development and performance
What We're Looking For
3+ years' leadership experience in children's residential care (preferred)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the Children's Homes Quality Standards
Confident communicator and strategic thinker
Passionate about safeguarding and child-focused care
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
