You and Your Team:

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a role focused on developing and enhancing our forecasting capabilities across Cards, Vehicle Finance, and 2nd Charge Mortgages.

This role plays a key part in supporting the production and monitoring of financial forecasts, helping to build a deeper understanding of the drivers behind variances. You'll work closely with stakeholders to provide data-driven insights into portfolio performance and the impact of strategy changes -- enabling informed decision-making that balances risk and reward.

Support in the development of new expected credit loss forecasting models across Cards, Vehicle Finance and Second Charge Mortgage portfolio. Investigation and development of new data sources to be used for analysis and decisioning. Investigate data, find trends, and forecast performance around IFRS9 expected credit losses (ECLs). Provide credit risk portfolio insight into variances against forecasts. Analyse portfolio data and variances to forecasts and contribute to discussion and challenges that help inform the development of policy, scorecards, and strategies. Perform in depth reviews of customer performance, providing insight and giving recommendations for credit strategy updates. Support the wider Portfolio Analytics and Forecasting team with ad hoc portfolio analysis as required. Be 'customer-obsessed' and have the appetite to understand our customers, how they behave, and provide insight that helps the business make decisions that positively impact the customer. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and external regulatory frameworks and ensure that the principles of responsible lending are upheld in line with the Group's Responsible Lending Policy.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in an analytical role. Proficient in SAS, SQL, or Python. Experience with forecasting and / or explaining ECL variances to budget under IFRS9. Experience in analytical tools such as SAS VA or PowerBI. Ability to interpret data and develop meaningful insight which can support and drive decision-making. Credit Card, Loans or Vehicle Finance experience.
