Bouygues Energies & Services has a new opportunity for a Small Works Manager at Barnet Hospital and support our long established estates team in providing preventative and reactive maintenance.

Working in partnership with our clients, we provide bespoke facilities management and energy services across the built environment.

Key activities:

• Managing the Change notice process from receipt, pricing, and execution of the work including quality control and delivery against scope, final sign off and in ensuring all documentation is saved to the site database with all cost back up being passed across for invoicing to the commercial team each month
• Work alone and manage own workload including scoping works with external contractors and internal staff, programming works with Client staff in live hospital environment, taking into consideration the clinical operation and ensuring coordination with local clinical managers
• To integrate and communicate effectively with site operational team and Managers on works that are ongoing
• Ensure the satisfactory, prompt and accurate completion of any associated paperwork as required, i.e. minor works completion certificates, maximo updates where required, and that all works documentation (O&M\'s, certification etc) are received, checked and stored on the site server
• Review costings from sub contractors to ensure that value for money is achieved
• Ensure that all safety paperwork is completed as required, and that RAMS are checked as suitable and in place prior to works
• Check works whilst in progress and on completion to ensure that works are completed to the client\'s satisfaction
• Ensure that the works are registered on the site change notice schedule, and that all sign off documentation and back up is prepared for the commercial team to invoice each month
• To take ownership of the Change notice work flow and attend meetings with client and operational managers as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified at the appropriate level in a building services related discipline
• Experienced in sub-contractor control and resource management
• Technical knowledge including asbestos management, statutory compliance and health and safety
• Good commercial and contractual awareness
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Maximo is desirable
• Experience of working in a local government environment is desirable
