Location: This post is based in Larkhall but the successful applicant may be required to travel throughout South Lanarkshire.
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated individual who can lead teams and set strategic direction within a vibrant and exciting Community Learning and Development service.
You will lead service teams and support the development of staff to maximise the CLD learning offer and improve outcomes for learners, adhering to legislation, personnel processes and protocols. You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect effectively with a range of professionals as well as learners and communities.
You will contribute towards a strategic approach to decision making that will drive forward the CLD Plan and YFCL Service Plan, ultimately leading to positive outcomes for learners and communities. You will continually develop and support monitoring and evaluation processes to plan and review the impact of service provision and provide analysis and reports as required.
You will contribute towards the development of CLD strategy at a local and national level and keep abreast off and influence legislation and key policy drivers that impact on communities, CLD services, and partners. You will build and maintain effective partnerships, and be involved in strategic working groups at local and national level.
This position will require some evening and weekend working.
