Job Description

Jason Plastics is a highly successful and growing family owned company manufacturing extruded and printed polythene films and carrier bags.

Requirements:

- A hands on role - Mechanical Bias

- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques - Electrical qualification essential. Ability to read electrical drawings.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - dependant on background experience

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal departments

- Ability to perform basic welding tasks is a plus, but not essential

Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

- Read and interpret schematics, technical and electrical drawings

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems

- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
