Are you a college leaver, recent apprentice or have experience in a mechanical setting and looking for an exciting new opportunity to gain training and on the job experience?

This company are part of an international group and have grown over the last 40 years to become the UK\'s leading supplier of specialist manufactured products. Having seen recent expansion they are looking to bring a Junior Engineer to the team to train up to be an independent Site Tooling Engineer in the future.

In this role you will be working Monday to Friday days but spending quite a lot of time on the road traveling to customer sites. You will initially be paired with a Senior Engineer but will ultimately be given your own van and work independently, so a full driving licence is required. You will travel to customer sites to repair tooling systems, either on site or by bringing them back to the workshop. You will ensure all tools are created and calibrated to correct tolerances and be involved with the wider team in developing and improving the tooling systems.

The Role:
*Monday to Friday days based
*Traveling to customer sites - occasionally staying away overnight
*Repairing a range of tooling systems
*Full technical training will be provided

The Person:
*Background in Engineering or Mechanical environment - either practical or academic
*Good people skills as you will be representing the company at customer sites
*Full drivers licence
