// Role Overview

As Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the on-site coordination and supervision of mechanical and/or electrical installation works. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you'll ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with practical experience in renewable energy, civil or electrical construction, and team leadership on live construction sites.

// Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily work activities of site operatives and subcontractors Monitor and enforce site health & safety compliance (toolbox talks, PPE, method statements) Review and implement RAMS for daily tasks and escalate non-conformance Coordinate with Site Manager and Lead Installers to ensure timely progress of works Conduct quality inspections on mechanical or electrical installations (depending on discipline) Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and photo logs Ensure materials and tools are available, delegated, tracked and safely stored Support the management of deliveries and logistics on site Attend daily site briefings and contribute to lookahead planning Promote a clean, organised and productive work environment Assist in snagging and close-out processes Use cloud-based storage and reporting systems to log documentation and updates daily

// Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction or solar PV projects Good knowledge of ground mount PV systems and associated installation processes (desired) Comfortable interpreting construction drawings and technical documents Strong awareness of site health & safety regulations Good communication and leadership skills - able to motivate and guide site teams Experience working with subcontractors and external stakeholders Full UK driving licence Confident using spreadsheets, cloud-based storage systems, and digital reporting tools Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), or similar systems
