Job Description

We are seeking a

Site Supervisor

to join our team and support the

Site Manager

in overseeing daily operations at our waste management facility. This role is ideal for someone with experience in waste, recycling, or industrial site management who thrives in a hands-on leadership position and is looking to grow their personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

? Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient waste processing, compliance with regulations & legislation.
? Lead and motivate the team, providing guidance, development and ensuring high standards of performance.
? Monitor and maintain health & safety procedures in line with industry and legal standards.
? Assist in managing plant machinery, ensuring routine maintenance and smooth operations.
? Ensure all waste materials are processed correctly to maximise recyclable output and drive best value.
? Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain site compliance, improving standards.
? Support the Site Manager in reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
? Address and resolve any operational or staff-related issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within

waste management, recycling, logistics, or an industrial environment

.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
Good understanding of

waste processing, site operations, and compliance regulations

.

Knowledge of

plant machinery operation

(preferred but not essential).

IOSH certification

(or willingness to obtain).
WAMITAB COTC Level 4 (desirable but not essential).
Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
A valid

UK driving licence

.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-37,000.00 per year
