Job Description

We are looking for a Site Manager with retail experience to join our Gatwick team. The successful candidate will be involved in managing some exciting projects which will require working away and night-shift working.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend survey meetings and supervise further survey requirements
• Assist in the development of the site setup layout and provision
• Meet subcontractors and review the scope and programme/phasing
• Action take offs and complete Material requisitions
• List and compile Site Signage requirements
• Manage the safety on site using the HB Safety Systems
• Manage client expectations
• Liaise with end user to ensure all are fully informed of ongoing works
• Attend progress meetings
• Complete snagging lists and close out defects in a timely manner
• Ensure work is completed by contractors as per their scope of works
• Assist with obtaining statutory approvals

Knowledge, training and experience required:

• Experience of site management in a retail environment
• Demonstrable ability to understand project plans
• Good knowledge and understanding of shop fitting or construction with an understanding of issues such as building regulations testing and inspection processes
• Proven track record of putting clients first
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in construction or construction related activity or relevant experience
• CSCS Black Card
• Asbestos Awareness
• Temporary Works Appreciation
• IPAF 3a & 3b
• PASMA
• First Aid at Work
• Full UK Driving Licence
