We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join the team at a high-volume, fast paced manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic development of the engineering function, drive performance ensuring all targets are achieved.
- Promote a Continuous Improvement culture via effective implementation of lean tools & techniques.
- Deliver all performance criteria in SQCDP.
- Review current maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve performance and cost effectiveness.
- Provide leadership coaching to your team to ensure optimal performance and hold them accountable for their performance.
- Create a positive, engaging, and supportive culture, maintaining a safe environment that is inclusive. One that is open, honest, with good communication and empowerment.
- Experience at a similar level in a similar FMCG production environment.
- Experience of working on a COMAH site.
- Must have an excellent understanding of Continuous Improvement/Lean - eg - Problem Solving, 5S, SMED, TPM etc\xe2\x80\xa6
- Experience in developing departmental business plans/strategies.
- Proven record in consistently delivering committed budgets and improving YoY SQCDP results.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
